Dussehra Vijayadasmi 2025

Vijayadashami, more commonly known as Dussehra, and also known as Dasara or Dashain, is a major Hindu festival celebrated every year at the end of Durga Puja and Navaratri. It is observed on the tenth day of the month of Ashvin, the seventh in the Hindu lunisolar calendar.

  • Vijayadashami is celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla paksha in the month of Ashwin (as per the Hindu calendar). It marks the end of Navratri and is also a symbol of good defeating evil. Vijayadashami 2025 will be celebrated on the 2nd of October which is a Thursday.
